What to Expect:
The elevation at Cusco is 11,400 feet and at Machu Picchu is 8,000.  This trip is not suitable for those with respiratory disorders, circulatory illnesses or those who have a disability that limits their mobility.

 Travel Information::

Our Inca Trail hikes are the perfect adventure for people who love to walk and hike.  You will spend four days walking the trail after spending several days acclimating to the altitude.  We will be at high elevations while in Cusco, on the trail and at Machu Picchu.  You should be physically fit. Passports are needed to Hike the Inca Trail

  The climate in the Andes  changes rapidly through the day.  Be prepared to experience sun and rain.

  The currency of Peru is the  Nuevo Sol (PEN).  Visa is the more widely accepted credit card.  US dollars are accepted many paces as payment.

Transportation ::   Books::   Medical::
You are responsible for your own air flights into and out of Lima, Peru and on to Cusco.  We can help you arrange your flights.
